UNS — Proud news came from Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta academic member who is ranked in the Top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists based on the Top 2% World Ranking Scientists published by Stanford University and Elsevier BV. The ranking is updated annually, with the most recent update on 20 October 2021 that includes 58 Indonesian scientists in the Top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists.
Among these Indonesian researchers, Dr. Eng. Nugroho Agung Pambudi, M.Eng., Mechanical Engineering Education Program (PTM) faculty member, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UNS. Dr. Agung had his postdoctoral program in the Postdoctoral Research Associate 2016-2017 in the International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research (I2CNER) Kyushu University and completed his Doctoral Engineering (Dr. Eng) from the Department of Earth Resources Engineering, Kyushu University Research Area: Thermodynamic, renewable energy, geothermal in 2011-2014.
Dr. Agung also received numerous awards, including the Honored Intellectual Property Award from the Indonesia Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Winner IT TIC competition in Taiwan, Runner up Halaltech competition in Malaysia, Awarded visiting scholar by Korean Institute Energy Research 2013, Japanese Monbusho Scholarship for Doctoral Engineering study 2011, Awarded young researcher program by Finland government in 2010, and Best Lecturers in two years 2019-2020 di UNS. He is also serving as editor at three reputable international journals ranked in Q2 Scopus, Q4 Scopus, and International Frontiers Journal.
