UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta will host the Indonesian Flying Robot Contest (KRTI) 2021. The final round of the competition will be held on 15-20 November 2021 in G.P.H. Haryo Mataram Auditorium UNS. KRTI is a competition held by the National Center for Achievements (Puspresnas) Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek).
As the host of KRTI 2021, this year’s competition will be led by Prof. Dody Ariawan from Mechanical Engineering Program (FT) UNS. he explained that this year’s competition would have four divisions. “Divisi Racing Plane (RP), Fixed-Wing (FW), Vertical Take-off and Landing (VTOL), and Technology Development (TD). Each division will have different themes because they are more specific,” he said.
The RP division has F.A.T (Fast And on Track) theme, fastest, and figure-of-eight. The FW division has emergency package delivery for the quarantine area, and VTOL division has QR-code-based Fast Response and Accurate Shipment Delivery as a theme. In the last division, TD, the theme was Innovate UAV Technology.
“There are 163 teams participating from various universities in Indonesia. From Sumatera, Java, Bali, Borneo, Sulawesi, to Maluku,” he added.
Besides hosting the event, UNS also send four teams to the final round of KRTI 2021: Shankara team in VTOL, Ernesti in RP, Bamantara in FW, and Prigi Baswara in TD. Humas UNS
