UNS – In the framework of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building project of Optimizing Research & Doctoral Programs in Banking and Finance in Indonesian Universities (OPTBANK) funding from the European Commission, Rector of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta and the five rectors of Consortium College in Indonesia are invited and funded by the European Commission. They are invited to conduct an exchange of best practices in international research and strategy management at Universite de Limoges (UNILIM), France on 25 and 27 June 2018. The included universities are UNS, ITB, Syiah Kuala University, Sriwijaya University, UIN Jakarta, and Tanjungpura University.

UNS Rector, Ravik Karsidi signed an MOU with Universitet de Limoges, France, for banking and financial cooperation.
The bilateral MOUs were also signed between UNILIM with UNS and UNILIM with five universities in Indonesia who become partners in above-mentioned OPTBANK project. The signing of the MoU was conducted by the Rector of UNILIM Alan Celerier and Rector of UNS Ravik Karsidi in the UNILIM Rector’s office. The MoU between UNILIM and UNS is an extension of the previous MoU. The previous MoU has been started since 2010 and updated in 2014 which only focus on finance and banking. However, in this MOU the scope of cooperation is extended to the other fields.
The OPTBANK project is an Eramus + Capacity Building project in research funded by the European Commission for the period 2017-2020 involving four universities in Europe (UNILIM, University of Rome III, Bangor University and Technical University of Crete) and six consortium universities in Indonesia in which UNS as coordinator. humas.red-uns/Ath/Dty
