UNS — In welcoming the 46th Anniversary of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) and Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) UNS, Medical Center UNS, Volunteer Corps (KSR) UNS, and Indonesia Red Cross (PMI) Surakarta held blood donation event in the Public Space FISIP UNS, Wednesday (16/2/2022). The event was attended by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, Vice-Rector for Management and Human Resources Affairs, Prof. Bandi, Chairwoman of DWP UNS, Budhi Widjajanti Jamal Wiwoho, and DWP UNS managers.
In his opening remark, the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, appreciated the committee that conducted a monthly discussion to hold humanitarian activities, including the blood donation event.
“Thank you to FISIP for providing the space. And thank you to DWP UNS, Medical Center UNS, KSR, and PMI Surakarta, who made this event possible. I also checked the registration, and UNS academic members were enthusiastic about participating; this reflects the high humanitarian spirit of the academic members,” Prof. Jamal stated.
The Dean of FISIP UNS, Prof. Ismi Dwi Astuti Nurhaeni, hoped that this blood donation event could benefit others. “Our gratitude to FISIP and non-FISIP academic members who donated their blood. Hopefully, this humanitarian activity could benefit many,” she stated. Humas UNS
