UNS – The Rector of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, symbolically inaugurates the tennis court in Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) UNS Campus in Kleco, Solo, Sunday (28/6/2020). Also present during the inauguration, the Director of Postgraduate school, Prof. Sutarno, the Dean of FKOR, Dr. Sapta Kunta Purnama, Vice Dean in FKIP UNS, the Head of PGSD Study Program, as well as faculty members and academic support staff in PGSD UNS Study Program.
In his opening remarks, Prof. Jamal states that the PGSD UNS Tennis Court has existed previously, but recently is renovated, thus its conditions become the standard for tennis or other sports.
“I really hope that colleagues at PGSD and FKOR or other faculties in UNS can meet here to exercise together,” expresses Prof. Jamal.
Meanwhile, the Vice Dean for General and Financial Affairs, FKIP UNS, Dr. Dewi Kusuma Wardani, M.Si., states that with the inauguration of PGSD UNS Tennis Court, hopefully, can increase the spirit of the students, lecturer, and support staff to maintain their health.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FKOR UNS, Dr. Sapta Kunta Purnama, strongly supports the program of UNS Rector and the university leaders in renovating and adding more sports facilities and infrastructure in the UNS environment. The inauguration of the PGSD UNS Tennis Court by the Rector of UNS will further strengthen the relationship of the employee, lecturers, and students. Besides, Sapta Kunta states that the increasing number of tennis courts in UNS will be a supporting factor in fostering and developing student achievement, particularly in Tennis. Humas UNS/Dwi
