UNS – The Public Relation of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta conducted a workshop about Data and Information Management for Officers (PPID) with the theme “Data and Information Management in the Era of 4.0 as means of Accelerating UNS Vission and Mission to Improve the Public Service Performence”. This wokshop was conducted in UNS Inn on Tuesday (9/10/2019) presenting the commisioner of the Central Information Commission (KIP), Cecep Suryadi, as the speaker.
This program was officially opened by UNS Vice-Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Kuncoro Diharjo. He highly appreciated UNS PR who conducted this workshop. “Hopefully, the participants of this workshop consisting of subdivision chairmans from UNS faculties will understand about PPID and their main duties,” Prof. Kuncoro stated.
Then, Prof. Kuncoro also thanked Cecep Suryadi as the Commissioner of KIP who have attended in as the speaker.
Besides, the deputy of UNS PR, Dr. Intan Novela Q.A in her speech said that in 2018, UNS successfully achieved an Institutional Information Openess award for the category of Public Universities. The KIP acknowledged UNS as a quite informative institution.
Cecep Suryadi exlpained that PPID has responsibility in archives, documentations, provisions, and information services in the university.
While the tasks of PPID are arranging and implementing information and documentation policy, archiving, documenting, providing, and information and documentation servicing to public. Moreover, the other tasks are verifying the public information and documentation materials, providing the accessable data for public, coordinating and consolidating the data collection from PPID assistant, updating and conducting consequence test for the excluded information and documentation.
