UNS – Koperasi Mahasiswa (Students’ Cooperation- Kopma) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held a try-out for Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SBMPTN) and talk show for Highschool students. This event is held in Gedung F the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UNS, Saturday (29/2/2020). Approximately 380 participants were attending the event. High school students from various regions such as Blora, Blitar, Salatiga, and Pacitan enthusiastically attending the tryout.
The Chairperson of the Try Out and Talkshow Committee, Diki Aryo Wijanarko said that this event is routinely held every year.
“Considering the nearing SBMPTN schedule and considering the needs of the students to train, therefore we want to provide facilitation for them to try the test,” said Diki.
Not only organizing a try-out, but Kopma UNS also held a talk show with a topic ‘Infinity Ways for Dream’. Attending the event as a speaker, Rubi Agil Hasan, the most outstanding student from the Diploma program in Agrobusiness 2019. In general, this talk show discusses UNS students’ life. It is expected that this event can inspire the participants from different regions to continue their studies to higher education and choose UNS as their university.
Previously a series of activities to celebrate the 36th RAT and 37th Kopma UNS Anniversary has been conducted since February. First, on 4-6 February 2020, a pre-RAT is conducted in IKA UNS Building, followed by the agenda of RAT XXXVI on 7-9 February 2020. A week later the celebration of Kopma UNS anniversary is held in Student Center UNS with several agendas, one of them is acoustics performance. Last year, Kopma UNS routinely holds various agendas to enliven its anniversary.
