UNS – Since the publication of the Rector Circular of the Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta regarding the implementation of campus activity limitation to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the teaching and learning activities in UNS were conducted online. The lecturers and students are conducting all lecture activities and examinations from their own homes.
The Vice Dean of General and Finance Affairs, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNS, Dr. Djuminah said that several Faculty staff in FEB UNS are required to remain to carry out their routine job during the pandemic. The security staff remains active, as well as the cleaning staff, who routinely conduct their job in cleaning the FEB UNS building and yards. Meanwhile, for the structural staff and academic support staff, a work schedule was established by their respective leader to arrange their in-office working time.
“The FEB UNS Leaders, since Monday, April 6th, 2020, had routinely provided nutritional support for the staff who remains in office, especially the security staff, cleaning staff, structural officer, and academic support staff,” Dr. Djuminah explains, Thursday (23/4/2020).
The nutritional support will be given for the next three months. The type of nutritional support given is different each passing day, for instance, green bean porridge, fruit juice, sticky rice porridge, pearl porridge, macaroni soup, and many others. Besides nutrition, to enhance staff immunity endurance, vitamins are also given.
The nutritional support given for every morning as well as the vitamins are expected to strengthen the human resource management in FEB UNS, enhancing immunity as prevention against COVID-19 infection. Humas UNS
