Let us together increase literacy culture, academic culture. A higher target, this article can be proposed for international publication,” he explains.

Dr. Suparni as the first speaker delivers material on scientific article writing in the community service program. The program can be conducted in many forms, both structured and unstructured. Dr. Suparni also shares some tips in writing a community service-based scientific article, “The writing procedures are not much different, there are the general guidelines, systematic writing, title, and name of the author, abstracts, introduction, method of community service up to conclusions. The title is a maximum of 12 words, describes the main contents of the article in a concise and clear manner. The article does not have to be the same with the PKM proposal title,” she explains.

Prof. Doddy Setiawan explains the presentation technique and PowerPoint design of a scientific article. The presentation must consider several points to attract the audiences’ attention.

Generally, the presentation can be divided into several parts, the introduction, literature review, and hypothesis, research methodology, results analysis, and conclusions. “In the introduction, focuses on the background of the research topic, research objective, and benefit of the research. In the literature review, it must relate to the theory used. The methodology outlines the steps in the research and proxy variables used,” he explains.

For the analysis of results, the result can be presented in a table format, thus the discussion refers to the table. Prof. Doddy also shares tips in doing a presentation, “Make eye contact with the audience. This shows that you have high confidence, thus you can master the topic well. We should also know the audience and having a presentable and convincing appearance. Moreover, come before the time of the presentation in order to prepare in advance,” he concluded.
