FMIPA UNS Halalbihalal Gathering Highlights the Spirit of Unity and Shared Success

UNS The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held its annual Halalbihalal FMIPA UNS. It took place on Wednesday (9/4/2025) at the Auditorium of Building C. The event brought together lecturers, academic and administrative staff, students, and guests in an atmosphere of joy and unity.

Strengthening Bonds Through the Spirit of Syawal

This year’s Halalbihalal carried the theme “Syawal Spirit, A Shared Spirit of Success for FMIPA JAYA.” The message emphasized unity and collaboration in welcoming the month of Syawal after Ramadan. It also encouraged all members of FMIPA UNS to work hand in hand towards shared success in academics and research.

Inspiring Reflections from Religious Leader

Keynote speaker Ust. Drs. Wasono Nurhadi is a renowned motivator and leader of Santri Makaryo Islamic Boarding School, Surakarta. In his inspiring sermon, Ust. Wasono reminded attendees about the importance of unity, both in personal and professional life.

“The spirit of Syawal is a momentum to begin better steps. It’s not only about asking for forgiveness but also about building harmonious relationships,” he said.
“Success is not achieved alone. It is a result of teamwork. In research and academics, we need to support each other. The success of FMIPA UNS is the success of all of us.”

Rector’s Encouragement for Greater Synergy

UNS Rector, Prof. Dr. Hartono, dr., M.Si., also delivered a message of encouragement. He urged all members of the academic community to use the Halalbihalal FMIPA UNS as a fresh start. He encouraged them to begin a more productive journey in education and research.

“Let the spirit of Syawal guide FMIPA UNS to achieve greater goals. We must excel not only academically but also in our contribution to society. Let’s uphold this spirit of unity for a glorious FMIPA UNS,” he stated.

The event concluded with a warm reception where attendees exchanged greetings and forgiveness. This moment of togetherness strengthened their bonds and renewed their commitment to the faculty’s vision and mission.
