The memorandum of understanding was signed by Director of Supervision, Inspection and Inter-Institutional Relations BPJS, Dr. Bayu Wahyudi and the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho.
The Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho stated that the purpose of this collaboration is to realize the synergy between BPJS and UNS in optimizing the implementation of JKN-KIS. “This is a form of UNS commitment to implement Higher Education Tri Dharma, which are education, research, and community service,” explained Prof. Jamal.
Prof. Jamal added that the implementation period of the memorandum of understanding is two years from the signing date. The memorandum of understanding can also be amended, extended, and terminated according to the agreement of both parties.
The memorandum of understanding covers several scopes. In the scope of education, research, and community service, the partnership will hold employee training program, internship, research or joint research, and speaker for lectures. The next scope is expertise and information sharing as well as socialization to optimize the JKN-KIS program: program benchmark and best practice sharing. The last scope is organizing seminars, workshops, focus group discussions, and other professional meetings.
Director of Supervision, Inspection and Inter-Institutional Relations BPJS, Dr. Bayu Wahyudi added adding that the JKN Program is essentially aimed at meeting the basic needs of adequate public health for everyone who has paid a premium or whose premium has been paid by the government. To run the JKN program smoothly, BPJS Kesehatan needs support from all parties in carrying out their roles and functions to create a healthy JKN ecosystem. A synergy and partnership in strengthening and optimizing the JKN-KIS program from the academics are highly needed to optimize the JKN program. Humas UNS/Bayu
