The directorate general of Population and Civil Registration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Dirjen Dukcapil Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri), Prof. Dr. Zudan Arif Fakrulloh who is also an alumnus from the Faculty of Law (FH) UNS opened UNS Mengajar series in Indonesia.

In the event, Prof. Zudan delivered a speech on Government Transformation. Today’s governance continues to reform from conventional to digital. This helps to give birth to new ways of running a government.

Concerning public service, digital reformation means providing easiness and flexibility for the community to take care of their needs.

In terms of population administration services (Adminduk), the duty of the state is to provide fast, accurate, complete, and free administration services for all Indonesians. The state also comes to people’s doors to provide Adminduk services for the community.

“Currently, the government is transforming in the adminduk services. Dukcapil Go Digital is the beginning of the transformation in Adminduk with the publication of Family Card (Kartu Keluarga – KK) and Birth Certificate which initially signed and stamped by the Head of Civil Registration Office, now it is electronically signed (TTE). Therefore, the service is faster, the sign can be given anywhere and anytime, and not limited to the office,” Prof. Zudan stated.

Prof. Zudan mentioned several other transformations implemented by Ditjen Dukcapil, among others, Automated Dukcapil Machine (ADM). With ADM, the community can print their document, whenever they can, so that the service is easier, faster, and free from illegal levies.

Further, in the event, the State Administrative Law Specialist stated that the government has developed Artificial Intelligence that facilitates the community in acquiring information on Adminduk. On this occasion, GISA robot that can answer questions concerning Dukcapil was put on display.

At the end of the lecture, Prof. Zudan asked the students of D-IV Demography and Civil Registration FH UNS can transform as an adaptive human resource.
