UNS — Students of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won the first position in National Scientific Writing Competition (LKTIN) of Communication Forum (Forkom) FKIP in Indonesia with a theme of Writing A Scientific Paper and Scientific Presentation. The students from FKIP UNS are Eryneta Nurul Hasanah from Javanese Language Education Program Class of 2017, Nani Muftihah from Indonesian Language and Literature Education Class of 2017, and Abdul Azis from Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Program Class of 2018. This year, the competition was conducted online in Universitas Negeri Jember (Unej).
In National LKTIN Forkom FKIP finalist presented their writing on Thursday (6/8/2020). The result was announced on Sunday (9/8/2020) of which Eryneta and her friends won the first place. Her paper entitled Development of Go-Bung (Golek Tembung) Application As An Innovation of Android-Based Javanese Vocabulary for Children was worked under the supervision of Cucuk Wawan Budiyanto, S.T., Ph.D. and Dr. Mardiyana, M.Si. From the study, they created Go-Bung application for android. Eryneta admitted that the competition was fully conducted in English.
Go-Bung is an educative learning application for android. When opening the application, users will be asked to find a word or “tembung” in Javanese to gain a point. With the increase of point and level of the game, the work will have more alphabetical compositions. The application is still developed, Eryneta hopes that this achievement will motivate other students. Humas UNS
