UNS — Faculty of Sports (FKOR) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won the Virtual Creative Gymnastics Competition held by Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ), Sunday (13/12/2020). FKOR UNS sends 5 students as delegates in the competition brought home the 2nd place winner. This achievement is confirmed directly by UNS creative gymnastic trainer, Hendrig Joko Prasetyo S.Pd. M.Or. The students who won this achievement are Bayu Triono, Ardian Rizky Widiyanto, Krisna Bunga Wardani, Leni Emiliyawati, and Afa Shaumi. All of them are students from the Sports Education Program.
Contacted by uns.ac.id, Hendrig Joko Prasetyo S.Pd. M.Or explained that the delegates from FKOR UNS performed the concept of “Senam Semar” which is an abbreviation of Senam Sebelas Maret Surakarta (Sebelas Maret Surakarta Gymnastics). Senam Semar is created by Hendrig Joko Prasetyo S.Pd. M.Or, and was introduced on Friday (29/11/2019) during the launching of Kampus Sehat (Healthy Campus) by the Directorate General of Disease Prevention and Control Ministry of Health RI.
“The concept and title of FKOR UNS are through Senam Semar we invite everybody to move and exercise. Naturally, the human is created to move, and by moving people will be healthy,” Hendrig Joko Prasetyo S.Pd. M.Or, stated on Monday (14/12/2020).
Hendrig Joko Prasetyo S.Pd. M.Or said that they need five days to prepare for the competition. Because of the intense exercise, UNS obtained 205 points in the competition. With this achievement, as the supervisor of the team, Hendrig Joko Prasetyo S.Pd. M.Or represented the team and conveyed their gratitude to FKOR UNS for its support. “We convey our gratitude to the Dean of FKOR UNS, Bapak Dr. Sapta Kunta Purnama and the executive leader of FKOR for the moral and material supports,” he stated
He also hopes that this achievement will encourage UNS students to obtain more achievement, especially in gymnastic. Humas UNS
