UNS —our hundred and forty-six applicants passed the Interest and Achievements Selection Track (PMDK) 2021 for the Diploma Program of Vocational School (SV) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta. The announcement for this result was released on Wednesday (31/3/2021).
The Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student AffairsUNS, Prof. Ahmad Yunus; Chief of Technical Implementing Unit (UPT) New Student Admission Selection (SPMB) UNS, Prof. Hadiwiyono; and the Dean of SV UNS, Santoso Tri Hananto, M.Acc., stated that PMDK 2021 received the highest interest from High School graduates in the last five years. In total, 9,529 prospective students applied, 4,516 in science and technology programs, and 5,013 in social and humanities programs. Applicants came from 30 provinces in Indonesia and increased by 34% from 7,105 applicants in 2020.
“Four hundred and forty-six people passed PMDK selection for Diploma Program SV UNS, 176 people in the science and technology program and 270 people in social and humanities program,” Prof. Jamal explained.
The UNS Rector added that the highest competitiveness rates in PMDK 2021 are in Diploma Program (D-3) Pharmacy with 1:61, D-3 Informatics Engineering 1:42, D-3 Civil Engineering 1:29, D-3 Chemical Engineering 1:28, and D-3 Mechanical Engineering 1:26 and D-3 Agribusiness with 1:26. The highest competitiveness ratios in the social and humanities programs are in D-3 Business Management 1:35, D-3 Taxation 1:33, D-3 Accounting1:26, D-3 Administration Management 1:23, and D-3 Finance and Banking 1:21.
The students who passed this selection are suggested to follow through the following stages. On 1 – 6 April 2021 (until 16:00 Western Indonesia Time (WIB)), they are expected to complete their biodata in https://spmb.uns.ac.id/biodata. On 6 April 2021, the tuition fee rate (UKT) will be announced in https://spmb.uns.ac.id/ukt, and students are allowed to submit a UKT rate adjustment (for financially disadvantaged students) on 6 – 9 April 2021 (until 6:00 WIB) through https://spmb.uns.ac.id/perubahanukt. The final UKT adjustment result will be announced on 16 April 2021, and students are expected to pay their tuition fee and conduct an online registration on 7– 23 April 2021. The UKT payment for those submitting adjustments is scheduled for 16-23 April 2021.
“Students who fail in this selection have an opportunity to apply for Main Diploma Selection (SUMD),” Prof. Jamal stated. The SUMD 2021 information can be accessed in https://spmb.uns.ac.id. UNS also provides an opportunity for prospective students to apply through UNS’ Independent Selection (SM-UNS) 2021 with five tracks; Achievements Track, Collaboration Track, Disability Track, Online Written Examination UNS, and UTBK-LTMPT exam score ranking.
