UNS – The implementation of the Computer-Based Written Exam (Ujian Tertulis Berbasis Komputer-UTBK) and the enrollment for Joint Selection Entrance to State University (Seleksi Bersama Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri-SBMPTN) for 2020 is postponed. This was due to the current ongoing national event regarding the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Head of the New Student Admission Selection (Seleksi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru-SPMB) Committee of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Prof. Ahmad Yunus said the postponement of the enrollment and UTBK implementation is in line with the Circular of the University Entrance Test Institution Executive Team (Tim Pelaksana Lembaga Tes Masuk Perguruan Tinggi-LTMPT) Number: 11/SE.LTMPT/2020 regarding the Implementation of 2020 UTBK Schedule.
Following the circular, the registration for UTBK and SBMPTN is re-scheduled on 2-20 June 2020. While the UTBK is scheduled to take place on 5-12 July 2020, followed by the announcement of SBMPTN on July 25th, 2020.
The material tested in the UTBK is the scholastic potential test. Each participant only allowed to registered for one test. The test itself will be conducted in 4 sessions each day. The Circular also regulates that the registration for UTBK and SBMPTN is conducted at once simultaneously by the participant, they are also required to choose the UTBK test center location and choosing the State Higher Education Institution (University) and their preferred Study Program.
