UNS — The Volunteering Corps (KSR), Indonesian Red-Cross (PMI), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won as the general winner in the Tirtayasa Red Cross Competition (TRCC) 2020, organized by KSR PMI Unit in Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa (Untirta). The outcome of the competition was announced on Sunday (22/11/2020), after a virtual round on 15-20 November 2020).
Abdul Aziz (KSR Team Coordinator) states that KSR UNS has prepared for the competition by conducting internal selection to choose the fittest delegation. The selected delegation, then, must follow a routine exercise led by an experienced mentor in KSR UNS. “We faced various challenges because the preparation involves many parties. Thus it is hard to manage the time for exercise and other activity,” Aziz reveals to uns.ac.id, Monday (23/11/2020).
Sending two teams as representatives, the UNS KSR PMI succeeded in securing five categories in the competition. The Tim A, represented by Angga Firda Tamara (Diploma in Marketing Management Study Program, class of 2018), Erik Widiyanto (Physics Education Study Program, class of 2015), and Ghany Maulana Al Aziz (Food Technology Study Program class of 2018), won the First Aid category (1st champion). In the Scientific Article category, the Team, represented by Gigih Putra Amin Pambudi (Diploma in Civil Engineering Study Program class of 2018), won the 2nd champion. Meanwhile, in the creative video, the Team won 3rd champion, represented by Nur Aisyah (Soil Science Study Program class of 2018), Rizka Hafsah (Biology Study Program class of 2018), and Alimah Prenawaswati Imbang Pakarti (Health and Company Hygiene and Work Safety Study Program class of 2017).
On the other hand, Team B has succeeded in securing two different categories in First Aid and Creative Video. Represented by Alifayatul Az Zharifah (Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program class of 2019), Azzahro Hanif Muaddibah (Biology Study Program class of 2019), and Reva Kusuma Wardani Setyawan (Physical Health and Recreation Education class of 2019), the Team managed to win the 2nd champion in First Aid category. In the Creative Video category, the Team awarded as the 1st champion, represented by Aulia Yulia Maryani (Biology Study Program class of 2019), Jihan Syarifah Rokhan (Physics Education Study Program class of 2019), and Rivani Yuniar (Diploma in Agricultural Product Technology Study Program, class of 2019). In the last category, Scientific Article Writing, there was Faiza Aulia Rochma from the Biology Study Program class of 2018. Humas UNS
