1,068 Applicants Passed PMDK for Diploma SV Program UNS

UNS—As many as 1,068 applicants passed the selection of Interest and Aptitude Tracing (Penelusuran Minat dan Kemampuan-PMDK) of 2020 for Diploma Vocational School (SV) Program Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta announced on Friday (10/4/2020). The applicants who passed the selection can take the next step by filling prospective student’s biography online on https://spmb.uns.ac.id/biodata website.

The Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho accompanied by Vice-Rector of Academic Affairs UNS, Prof. Ahmad Yunus, Executive Secretary for New Student Admission Selection (SPMB) UNS, Prof. Hadiwiyono, and SV UNS Director, Santoso Tri Hananto, M.Acc in an online press conference with reporters, Friday (10/4/2020) stated that PMDK track in 2020 for Diploma SV Program UNS received high interested students graduated from Senior Highschool or the equivalent. It was proved from the number of PMDK applicants in 2020 for Diploma SV Program UNS of 8,837 people with the following details: 3,969 science-tech applicants and 4,868 social sciences applicants from 27 provinces in Indonesia. This number increased by 15% from 7,515 applicants in 2019. The number of applicants in 2020 is the highest in the last four years or since 2017.

“(The applicants) who passed PMDK selection in 2020 for Diploma SV Program UNS are 1,068 people with (the following) details, 429 people in science-tech and 639 people in social sciences,” Prof. Jamal explained.

Prof. Jamal added that in PMDK 2020 for Diploma SV Program UNS there are five programs in science-tech that have the highest acceptance ratio, among others, Diploma (D-3) of Pharmacy, with the highest ratio 1:16, Diploma (D-4) of Health and Company Hygiene and Work Safety with 1:13, Diploma (D-3) of Informatics Engineering with 1:13, Diploma (D-3) of Mechanical Engineering with 1:11, and Diploma (D-3) of Civil Engineering 407 46 1:9. In social sciences track, five programs get the highest ratio in PMDK track for Diploma SV Program UNS, among others Diploma (D-3) of Taxation with 1:13, Diploma (D-3) of Business Management with 1:12, Diploma (D-3) of Administration Management with 1:10, Diploma (D-3) of Visual Communication Design with 1:9, and Diploma (D-3) of Accounting with 1:8.
