UNS — Voluntary Corps (KSR), the Indonesian Red-Cross (PMI), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Unit, Surakarta organized a Virtual Teenage Red-Cross Training (PMR) Wira under the assistance of KSR PMI UNS Unit. The event hosted on Saturday (21/11/2020) aims to equate the perception of the matter regarding Assessment material, Skeletal Muscle Injury, and Soft Tissue Injury, for the PMR Wira under the guidance of KSR UNS.
This training was attended by 15 schools with total 3 representatives from each school. The attending school representatives are SMA Al-Islam Surakarta, SMA N 1 Kartasura, SMA N 2 Surakarta, SMA N 3 Surakarta, SMA N 7 Surakarta, SMK N 3 Surakarta, SMK N 9 Surakarta, SMA MTA Surakarta, SMA Al-Azhar 7 Surakarta, SMA Al-Azhar Syifa Budi Solo, MA Al-Islam, SMA Pradita Dirgantara, SMA Insan Cendekia, SMA Bilingual Boarding School Surakarta (ABBS), and SMA Warga Surakarta.
Three trainers for the event are Wuri Prasetyo, M. Arif Sudarsono, and Luqman Satria Pradana. Each trainer delivers different training material, where Wuri Prasetyo delivers material on Assessment, M. Arif Sudarsono delivers material on Skeletal Muscle Injury and Soft Tissue Injury. Lastly, Luqman Satria Pradana led the practice session.
“Training such as this, organized by KSR PMI UNS Unit, is interesting and educative. This activity can inspire the spirit for learning first aid by the PMR members or even PMR trainers during the ongoing pandemic. Hopefully, there will be more training to maintain the enthusiasm in learning how to help each other,” Wuri added.
In his written releases, Afrizal Risanto, as the Head of Organizing Committee, reveals that through this training, participants can refresh their knowledge and extend their understanding of the related topics. Afrizal hopes that this event can be a routine schedule.
