UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta signs a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Research, Development, Education, and Training in Law and Justice Office, of the Supreme Court (Litbang Diklat Kumdil Office MA). This MoU covers several activities such as education, research, community service, and Kampus Merdeka program implementation. The signatory ceremony was conducted in the 4th Assembly Room, dr. Prakosa Rectory Building UNS, on Thursday (18/3/2021).
The MoU was signed directly by the Rector UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, and the High Judge Researcher of Litbang Diklat Kumdil Office MA, Ernida Basry, M.H. The partnership will be effective for five years and covering Higher Education Tri Dharma activities and other activities related to Merdeka Belajar or Kampus Merdeka program.
In his remark, Prof. Jamal mentioned that one of the objectives of this partnership is to establish a responsive campus.
“A campus should be ready with the rapid changes. As one of the efforts, a campus must collaborate with the industry or professional body such as MA. Through this MoU, hopefully, we can contribute to the academic field in the MA. In turn, we also need assistance from MA to further develop UNS especially the Faculty of Law (FH), among other to be speakers or lecturers in various programs in FH UNS,” he explains.
Prof. Jamal is ready to assist any research activities in the Supreme Court. Ernida Basry in their remark hopes for this partnership to graduate high-quality graduates in all field of studies. Humas UNS
