UNS — Student of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta never stop crafting new achievements during the pandemic. This time around, the great achievement is presented by a student from the Faculty of Cultural Studies (FIB) UNS, Rezarivano Mukhairisubarkah. The student of the English Language and Literature Study Program contributes to the UNS achievement through a video competition in the 11th RSUD Prambanan Anniversary.
In the competition announcement released on Instagram Account @rsudprambanan on Wednesday (17/3/2021), Rezarivano Mukhairisubarkah is determined as the winner (first place). When contacted by uns.ac.id through short message service, Rezarivano admits that he is thankful for the result. Last January too, he won the National Creative Video Contest (NCVC) Universitas Islam Darul ‘Ulum (Unisda) Lamongan.
“By chance, I just won the Video competition for the RSUD Prambanan 11th Anniversary celebration,” Rezarivano states.
Rezarivano won the competition from 25 January to 6 March 2021 with a video entitled “Health Protocol Implementation During the Pandemic”. Through the video with 2:21 minutes duration uploaded in his Instagram Account @rezarivano15, he stresses the importance of community awareness in handwashing discipline, maintains a safe distance, and wearing a mask.
“The video is about the implementation of health protocol during the pandemic. Because of my photography and videography hobby, I am interested to join videography competitions,” he explains.
Rezarivano chooses several locations for his video material such as UNS Kentingan Campus, coffee shop, Balai Kota Solo, and Batik Solo Trans (BST) bus stop. Additionally, he uses certain tools, including cameras, stabilizers, and drones.
“I asked for help from two of my friends to prepare the video. The starting preparation is equipment preparation,” explains the student from the class of 2018.
For his achievement, Rezarivano expresses his wishes to be able to compete in other competitions and contribute to UNS achievement.
“Even with the challenge because the video scenes do not match the concept, Alhamdulillah, I can win the first place. I hope I can compete in more championships and contributed more title,” he concluded. Humas UNS
