The Dean of FK UNS, Prof. Dr. Reviono, dr., Sp.P(K), advised the new doctors to uphold three key principles: professionalism, integrity, and networking.
“Do not forget these three essential things. Professionalism involves the competence you have already acquired here at FK UNS. I am confident that all of you possess unquestionable competence. Integrity includes honesty, discipline, responsibility, and more. Lastly, remember the importance of networking,” Prof. Reviono emphasized.

UNS Rector, Prof. Dr. Hartono, dr., M.Si., in his remarks, stressed the importance of having dreams to achieve success. “A career in medicine offers a wide range of opportunities. You can advance functionally by becoming a doctor, then a specialist, a subspecialist, or even pursue a career as a lecturer, researcher, or academic. You could also combine roles as a specialist, lecturer, and researcher. Structurally, you could aim to become the head of a health center, a hospital director, a minister, a rector, and more. Pursue your dreams and decide which path you want to take,” Prof. Hartono said.
Representing RSUD Dr. Moewardi Surakarta, dr. Sulistyani Kusumaningrum, Sp.Rad, M.Sc., emphasized the importance of excellent patient care. “Wherever you are assigned, adapt well, and greet every patient with a smile. A smile makes patients happy. Treat them with kindness and always be friendly,” dr. Sulistyani advised.
With the graduation of this 228th period, FK UNS has now produced 7.248 doctors since its establishment in 1976. These graduates have spread across the country, contributing their expertise in various sectors, including healthcare services, education, research, and roles in both the public and private sectors, as well as in the police and military forces.
