UNS — Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held a webinar on How to Publish Books in RajaGrafindo Persada Publisher. This webinar was conducted virtually through Zoom Cloud Meeting on Friday (18/3/2022). The webinar is also part of a series of activities in the 46th UNS Anniversary Commemoration, in collaboration with the RajaGrafindo publisher to improve the Key Performance Indicators (IKU) of Higher Education (PT).
In his remarks, the Dean of FEB UNS, Prof. Drs. Djoko Suhardjanto, M.Com.Hons)., Ph.D., Ak., expressed his gratitude for the organization of this webinar. “The theme taken is excellent. Books publication is an important aspect, especially for Study Programs accreditation and University accreditation. Because one of the assessment points considers the number of books and research article publications done by the Faculty members,” said Prof. Djoko.
He added that this collaboration would undoubtedly have various benefits for the academics sector and publishers themselves. “Thank you for the committee. Thank you to RajaGrafindo Persada Publisher. Hopefully, this activity can take place successfully, smoothly, and continuously,” added Prof. Djoko.
Meanwhile, the Vice Dean for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs FEB UNS, Prof. Dr. Izza Mafruhah, SE, M.Si., was also invited as a keynote speaker. Prof. Izza displays instructions on how to write a book. “We need to write a book. Because writing is a means to convey ideas, ideas also improve scientific ability. And a book writing skill is an art in itself, which needs continuous training,” said Prof. Izza.
After the keynote speech, the event was followed by the presentation from the Senior Editor of PT RajaGrafindo Persada, Monalisa, M.Si. The event discussion was led by FEB UNS Lecturer Nurul Istiqomah, SE., M.Sc., as a Moderator. Humas UNS
