UNS — The President Director of Social Security Provider (BPJS Kesehatan), Prof. Ali Ghufron Mukti, visit the Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Hospital in a work visit to Surakarta, Friday (12/3/2021) afternoon. The working visit was conducted a fortnight after his inauguration as the President Director in BPJS Kesehatan by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Prof. Ali Ghufron Mukti’s visit to UNS Hospital was accompanied by the IT Director of BPJS Kesehatan, Ir. Edwin Aristiawan, Member of National Social Security Board (DJSN), Muttaqien, Deputy Directors for Central Java-DIY Region, dr. Dwi Martiningsih, and the Head of BPJS Kesehatan Surakarta, dr. Yessi Kumalasari. Arriving in the UNS Hospital Auditorium, Prof. Ali was welcomed by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, Director of UNS Hospital, Prof. Hartono, and the spokesperson for UNS Hospital Covid-19 Task Force, dr. Tonang Dwi Ardyanto, Ph.D.
“I have been following the UNS Hospital development since then. Right now, for the research, the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs (Menko PMK) is proud with the outcomes (t/n: the outcomes of the research in UNS Hospital),” Prof. Ali states when opening the discussion.
Several topics are discussed by Prof. Ali, among others are the plan for UNS Hospital as the testing place for the new online BPJS Kesehatan system. The selection is based on the fact that UNS Hospital has become the testing place for Participant Eligibility Letter (SEP) issuance application pilot project, since 2016. The SEP system is developed by BPJS Kesehatan and is known as ‘V-Claim’.
Regarding the new system to be tested, Prof. Ali requested Prof. Hartono to calculate the number of the queue and estimated time needed by the patient to queue. “What is the approximate time for the patient to wait in a queue? Later, if the interface is ready, how do we get this type of data? If we already have DJKN online system, then, we can work together, this will bring different outcomes in terms of online queueing system and quality improvement,” Prof. Ali Ghufron Mukti explains.
Other than the implementation of the online system test, Prof. Hartono as UNS Hospital Director delivers a report on the development and achievement of UNS Hospital. In his report, Prof. Hartono mentioned the number of patients admitted to UNS Hospital, Covid-19 positive case, and realization of RS UNS Budget and Spending for the year 2020.
“For an education hospital, our outpatients are kept increasing. According to the mandate, we do not charge a high price for health treatment and it can be said that even our most expensive room is still affordable,” Prof. Hartono reveals.
Additionally, Prof. Hartono mentioned that during the Covid-19 pandemic, UNS Hospital is trusted to handle the Covid-19 positive patients in Sukoharjo District. “In March there are 9 (nine) IGD outpatients Covid-19 suspect, and 13 inpatients due to Covid-19 positive. In December 2020, the total number of Covid-19 positive patients is 359 people,” he detailed. Humas UNS
