UNS – Rector of Universitas Negeri Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Ravik Karsidi, inaugurated and inducted the administrators and committee of Student Organizations (ORMAWA) UNS for term of 2017 on Wednesday (01/25/2017). The inauguration, which took place in auditorium of UNS, was attended by administrators and committee of 32 ORMAWA of the university and faculties of UNS.

“I remind all of ORMAWA committee not to jump on the bandwagon without understanding the situation, and do not be a group of people who speak loudly with no action, be a group of people that capable of taking strategic roles,” Ravik said in front of hundreds of inauguration participants.
Furthermore, Ravik reminded students not to merely strive for excellence in academic fields. They also need to contribute to society.

“Do not be students who only attend classes then go back home. Be the students who care about the environment, the community, and the country by getting involved in community service.
