UNS – The rector of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho together with Public Relation Office of UNS visited Detikcom and Bisnis Indonesia office in Jakarta on Friday (28/2/2020). This visit was a way to establish a partnership between UNS and Detikcom and Bisnis Indonesia.
In Detikcom, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho and Public Relations Office of UNS was greeted by the CEO of detikNetwork, Abdul Aziz, Editor in Chief detikcom, Alfito Deannova, Vice Editor in Chief detikNetwork, Iin Yumiyanti and Marketing Communication Manager detikNetwork, Karel Anderson.
In the visit, Prof. Jamal talked about the 44th UNS Anniversary on 11 of March. The anniversary takes ‘The Acceleration and Reorientation of 4.0 Learning to Improve the Nation’s Competitiveness’.
“We are from UNS expect a news reporting from Detikcom concerning the Anniversary events,” stated Prof. Jamal.
Prof. Jamal added that the pinnacle of Anniversary events will be held on 11 March 2020 in G. P. H Haryo Mataram Auditorium UNS with the agenda of the Open Senate Meeting. In the event, UNS Award will be granted to Prof. Dr. K.H. Ma’ruf Amin (Vice President of RI) for his distinction in Sharia Economic and Art Award to Waldjinah. In the Senate meeting, a Scientific Oration will be delivered by the minister of Research, Technology, and the Head of the National Innovation Research Agency (BRIN), Prof. Bambang P.S. Brojonegoro.
“We would like to thank Detikcom for trusting UNS to organize the Detikcom Goes to Campus event on 3-4 March,” stated Prof. Jamal.
CEO detikNetwork, Abdul Aziz, welcomed the Rector of UNS and the Public Relations Office of UNS. Through this visit, they expected to establish a good relationship between Detikcom and UNS.
Meanwhile, in Bisnis Indonesia, UNS team was welcomed by the Director of Reporting of Bisnis Indonesia, Arif Budi Susilo, Editor in chief Bisnis Indonesia, Maria Yuliana Benyamin, and Deputy Chief Editor Bisnis Indonesia, Chamdan Purwoko.
At the meeting, Prof. Jamal stated that in the 44th UNS Anniversary, UNS will send students and alumni of UNS for ‘UNS Mengajar Indonesia’.
“This event is a form of UNS community engagement and commitment to improving the education and human resource. The theme of UNS Mengajar is ‘Improving Nation’s Competitiveness through Superior Human Resource based on Pancasila’,” stated Prof. Jamal.
The Editor in Chief of Bisnis Indonesia, Maria Yuliana Benyamin expressed gratitude for the visit.
“There are many partnerships that can be established between UNS and Bisnis Indonesia. Apart from reporting, it could also be in terms of journalistic training for students or lecturers as well as student internship,” she concluded. Humas UNS/Dwi
