UNS — The students of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta successfully won the Pamulang Accounting Competition held by Universitas Pamulang. UNS Team, Team Semar that consists of Anissa Mauliya, Annisa Noor Rizky Asis and Raka Muhammad Iqbal won the first place in the accounting competition.
After passing the competition stages, Raka and friends were announced as the first winner on Monday (23/11/2020). Representing his team, Raka stated that they only expected to enter the best three. “It is unbelievable,” Raka said to uns.ac.id, Thursday (26/11/2020). Through this competition, he added that they aimed to expand their experience, relation, and provide a surprise for their faculty Student Affairs Unit that had offered full support for the team.
They experienced obstacles to obtaining their sweet achievement. Raka stated that during the announcement for the second round, their team was not focused due to each member’s activities. However, they continued to strive and to collect a draft presentation until one day before the final round. Raka conveyed that his team played safe in the initial round, but they got maximum scores in the last three questions. “There was also a race for the 5th position, and we were quite resigned,” Raka explained. Concluding the interview, Raka hopes that many of his fellow students will be interested in participating in the competition and believing in their ability. Humas UNS
