UNS — Vocational School (SV) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) followed by an Agreement of Partnership (PKS) with PT Insani Investama. The signing ceremony was held on the 1st floor SV UNS Hall on Thursday (7/4/2022). The collaboration will be effective two years after the MoU and PKS signed.
This collaboration aims to develop education based on the Business and Industrial World (DUDI) link as a vital focus in Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program implementation, which allows the student to select elective courses and have an internship in DUDI. UNS Vice-Rector for Planning, Partnership, Business, and Information Affairs, Prof. Sajidan, explained that the collaboration is expected to shape UNS graduates to have competencies sought by DUDI, to implement Higher Education Tri Dharma and human resources development.
“Thus, encouraging students to master various filed of expertise that will be beneficial when they enter the workplace,” Prof. Sajidan stated in his opening remark. The Vice-Rector also hoped that the MoU and PKS with PT Insani Investama would bring synergistic collaboration that continues to grow and benefit both parties.
In his opening remark, the President Director of PT Insani Investama, Wymbo Widjaksono, stated that the collaboration would include Insani Group and its subsidiaries, including PT Insani Investama as a holding company, PT BPR Bina Sejahtera Insani (Binsani), PT BPR Rejeki Insani (Rinsani), PT BPR Dutabhakti Insani (Dinsani), PT Sewoo Insan Sentosa (IT Consulting), and Accounting Service Office (KJA) PT Jasa Insani Surakarta.
Wymbo also expected that the collaboration could shape UNS graduates with competencies sought by DUDI. He hoped the collaboration could benefit both parties and the educational field, especially in Surakarta. He also emphasized that the collaboration will cover education, research, community service, human resource development, MBKM program implementation, and the development of business and industrial fields, especially in banking, information technology, and accounting services.
The Chairman of Financial Service Authority (OJK) Solo, Eko Yulianto, stated that OJK supported and appreciated the collaboration. He hoped the partnership could benefit UNS students to get an internship before entering the workplace.
The Vice-Dean for Planning, Partnership, Business, and Information Affairs of Vocational School UNS, Dr. Eng. Herman Saputro, S.Pd., M.Pd., M.T., shared that the collaboration will fully support the MBKM program implementation.
