UNS – The Alumni Association of Universitas Sebelas Maret (IKA UNS) Surakarta, held a One Day Clinic in Collaboration with the Civitas Academics of UNS on Saturday (01/02/2020). The event is about Family Financial Planning and Pension Arrangement presented by Agung Tri Prasetya, S.H., RFP, as the Founder of Keuangan Bijak.
The Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho attended the event, which organized in Ruang Sidang 2 in UNS Rectorate Building and deliver an opening remark. “Family financial planning and arrangement of pension is important. Especially for those who currently are preparing for their retirement period,” said Prof. Jamal to uns.ac.id.
Meanwhile, the General Secretary of IKA UNS, Drs. Bambang Dwi Wahyudi also delivering a remark and informing about the current development of IKA UNS, such as the distribution of UNS Alumni both nationally and internationally. Moreover, IKA UNS also held activities such as Golf Tournament which is planned to be implemented in the near future.
Further, the Chairman of 44th UNS Dies Natalis, Prof. I Gusti Ayu Ketut Rachmi Handayani, delivered the agenda that will be held as a series of UNS Anniversary celebration, such as Wayangan (shadow puppet show), Pasar Murah (bazaar), Jalan Sehat (healthy walking), and others.
Opening the workshop, Agung Tri Prasetyo, S.H., RFP, who is the alumni of the Faculty of Law (FH) UNS year of 1997, provides a description of the current condition on how Indonesia community spent their retirement days. “Based on observation the millennial generation does not prepare for their future properly. Many of them choose to spend their money on current needs instead of having proper financial planning,” Agung said.
Agung explained on the actions that can be taken to prepare for the retirement period. Not only delivering a theoretical point of view, but he also encourages the participants to roughly calculate their spending, managing and establish a financial plan. Humas UNS/Ratri
