UNS — Alumni Association of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science (FMIPA) Foundation Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta or UNS Micare Foundation provides a scholarship for financially disadvantaged students affected by Covid-19 with a total of IDR 11 million.
The scholarship was handed symbolically by Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs UNS, Prof. Ahmad Yunus, to the representative of awardees in Building C Hall FMIPA UNS, Friday (19/2/2021). The occasion was attended by the Dean of FMIPA UNS, the executive boards, and the UNS Micare Foundation administrator.
The secretary of UNS Micare Foundation, Fendy Prasetyo Nugroho, M.Kom stated that this scholarship is the second round following the first round held in 2020. Twelve students in FMIPA and Diploma Program (D3) in Informatics Engineering Vocational School (SV) UNS. Each student received IDR 750,00 to IDR 1 million aids.
“The scholarship was from the funds collected by Alumni Association of FMIPA UNS. We hope that this scholarship will assist students who face difficulty in funding their studies,” Fendy stated. Humas UNS
