The congress which was attended by the Indonesian government aimed to broaden the opportunities between UNS and La Rochelle University in various events. Several events which can be developed are strengthen the networking between those two countries (Indonesia-France), hold partnership opportunity of UNS and La Rochelle University in research, conduct the new consortium (e.g. FICEM/French-Indonesian Consortium on Engineering and Management), and so on. It also can be the chance to promote the national languages both from Indonesia and France.

Besides, special events were also conducted, they are project discussion in Research and Higher Education aspect, round table of decentralization partnership between the government of Indonesia and France, visitation to several maritime research locations, partner seeking session on the information board. In the partner seeking session, the participants were able to choose the partner whom they want to meet during the speed meeting session. Not only chose the partner, but also sticked the brief advertisements in the form of theme for PhD offers, internship, call for conference paper, and so on. (denty.red.uns.ac.id)
