UNS — 3,427 applicants passed the SBMPTN Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta examination 2020 on Friday (14/8/2020). Applicants who passed the selection are required to take the next stages by opening http://spmb.uns.ac.id. The Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho in a press release Friday (14/8/2020) stated that the applicants to SBMPTN UNS 2020 were 51,974 people or increased by 6.66 % from 2019. “From the number, 3,427 applicants passed the selection or 6.59% from the total applicants. This number consists of 2,550 regular applicants and 877 College-KIP 2020,” Prof. Jamal explained.
From 51,974 SBMPTN UNS applicants, 27,464 applied to science and technology field and 24,510 applied to social and humanities fields. In science and technology fields, 1,695 applicants passed the selection and in social and humanities fields 1,732 applicants passed the selection process. The passing ratio for science and technology fields is 1: 16 and for social and humanities fields is 1:14. Ten programs have the highest passing ratio in science and technology fields, Pharmacy Program with 1:53, Informatics Engineering program with 1:42, Medicine Education Program with 1: 34, Psychology Program with 1:28, Food Technology Program with 1: 24, Architectural Engineering Program with 1:21, Industrial Engineering Program with 1:21, Agribusiness Program with 1:20, Urban and Regional Planning Program with 1:20 and Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Program with 1:19. Ten programs with the highest ratio in social and humanities fields are Communication Science Program with 1:37, Management Program with 1:35, State Administration Science Program with 1:27, Accounting Program with 1: 26, Indonesian Language and Literature Program with 1:24, Visual Communication Design Interior Design (DKV) 1:24, Guidance and Counseling Education Program 1:21, International Relations Program 1:20, English Language and Literature Program 1:17, and Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Surakarta 1:17.
“Congratulation to all applicants who passed the selection. For those who did not pass, they can apply through Seleksi Mandiri (SM) UNS in UTBK. Alhamdulilah UNS is in the top five universities with the largest applicants in Indonesia and the top eight with highest UTBK score in science and technology fields,” Prof. Jamal stated.
Applicants who passed the selection process are required to perform the following activities: filling biodata on 15-20 August 2020, tuition fee announcement on 21 Agustus 2020, application for tuition fee amendment on 21-23 August 2020, final tuition announcement on 26 August 2020, tuition payment and online registration on 21-28 August 2020, and upload and document post for on-desk examination on 21-31 August 2020.
