UNS — The Student Community Service Program (KKN) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta August period is almost over. Various programs have been implemented by students in building the community. Therefore, the KKN UNS Managing Unit held monitoring in the Kebumen District, Central Java, as a sample on Saturday (28/8/2021).
The monitoring was attended by the Chief of UP KKN UNS, Prof. Sudibya and Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Affairs UNS, Prof. Kuncoro Diharjo, who is also the field supervisor for KKN Teams in Logede Village, Pejagoan, Kebumen. The Logede village apparatus also attended the monitoring.
UNS has two KKN Teams in the village, Group 36 and 37, with different programs. “The key programs of our team are three, starting waste bank, producing bokashi fertilizer, training to produce bok coy chips,” Nisrina, KKN Group 36 member, explained.
Prof. Kuncoro Diharjo appreciated the programs that the teams have implemented. He also thanked the village apparatus, who have welcomed the student well. “This monitoring is sudden, so we want to see how it really is. Alhamdulillah, the programs are implemented; this KKN becomes a trigger that there is something that can be done for the community. Hopefully, this silaturahmi that is built with Logede Village can be continued in the field of research, community service, research, and innovation,” Prof. Kuncoro stated.
The Logede Village government also welcomes UNS students presence through the KKN. This is mentioned directly by the Logede Village Secretary, Eni Kurniasih, who represents the village chief. “As Logede Village government, we are proud of UNS KKN students for creating innovations for our village. For example, there is spice drink because we are in a pandemic now. We hoped that what has been implemented brings benefits and advancement so that Logede is more developed,” Eni hoped. Humas UNS
