UNS – Student of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta won first place in the International Degree Design Exchange (INDDEX) 2023. The student is Della Mahandhika Manudi from the Bachelor’s Degree Program of Interior Design, Faculty of Arts and Design (FSRD) UNS.
The competition took place on August 21-23. A total of 55 works participated in the event, including entries from several universities in Indonesia and Malaysia. Della’s winning entry was titled “The Treasure Mapping Approach: Local Rojolele Delanggu Rice Packaging Design”.
The event spanned three consecutive days at Universitas Widyatama Bandung. It commenced with the opening ceremony, followed by the exhibition of participants’ poster works and a painting event. The second day involved poster evaluations conducted by lecturers from both Malaysia and Indonesia, along with additional painting activities. The final day featured a talk show, the announcement of the eight winners, and the closing ceremony of INDDEX 2023.
“I didn’t expect to win 1st place in the INDEXX 2023 competition because many other participants had impressive works,” Della said on Thursday (14/9/2023).
Della also expressed her hope to continue her passion for learning, further develop her skills, stay creative, and continue producing artistic works. HUMAS UNS
