UNS – The Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD) of Central Java Province has signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (TIK) at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta for the facilitation of the 2024 Competency Selection for Prospective Civil Servants (CASN) using the Computer-Assisted Test (CAT) method. The PKS signing took place in Meeting Room 1, Dr. Prakosa Building at UNS, on Monday (10/14/2024).
Representing UNS at the signing was the Vice-Rector for Planning, Cooperation, Internationalization, and Information, Prof. Irwan Trinugroho, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., accompanied by Vice-Rector for Resources, Prof. Dr. E. Muhtar, S.Pd., M.Si., CFrA.; Director of the TIK Directorate, Ir. Ary Setyawan, M.Sc., Ph.D.; Director of the Directorate of Finance, Assets, and General Affairs, Taufiq Arifin, S.E., M.Sc., Ph.D., Ak.; and Secretary of the TIK Directorate, Haryono Setiadi, S.T., M.Eng. The Central Java Provincial Government was represented by the Head of BKD, Rahmah Nur Hayati, S.K.M., M.Kes., and her team.
In his remarks, Prof. Irwan expressed gratitude to the Central Java Provincial Government for entrusting UNS with organizing the 2024 CASN Competency Selection using the CAT method.
“The CASN Competency Selection for the 2024 Formation with the CAT method will be held from Thursday, October 17, 2024, through Monday, October 21, 2024. While last year’s test was held in the G.P.H. Haryo Mataram Auditorium, this year’s selection will take place in the TIK Directorate Building at UNS,” Prof. Irwan explained.
Although the location has changed from last year, Prof. Irwan assured us that the TIK Directorate Building provides enhanced facilities and security compared to the previous venue, the G.P.H. Haryo Mataram Auditorium. “The TIK Directorate Building at UNS is fully equipped and secure, so there’s no need for concern,” he added.
Prof. Irwan expressed hope for a smooth and secure selection process, adding, “We have coordinated with PLN to ensure there will be no power outages during those dates, reinforcing our commitment to providing the best service for CASN Competency Selection participants. We hope that UNS continues to be trusted by the Central Java Provincial Government as a selection venue.”
Head of Central Java BKD, Rahmah Nur Hayati, S.K.M., M.Kes., expressed her appreciation to UNS, noting that the cooperation in hosting CASN Competency Selection with the CAT method has been established multiple times.
“This collaboration is not the first; it has been ongoing for years. Although the 2024 CAT location has moved from the Auditorium, we are confident that UNS’s designated TIK Directorate Building is the best venue for the test. We trust that UNS will provide outstanding service for the CASN selection process. We hope the selection process goes smoothly,” Rahmah stated.
