UNS — The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta in collaboration with Bank Jateng delivered aids to the village community in Cangkringan Banyudono, Boyolali. At the initial stage of the collaboration, Bank Jateng provided aids in the form of cash for desa binaan (aided village) of FEB UNS which experienced a disaster recently. Around 57 families were required to perform independent isolation for 14 days because some of the villagers were tested positive for Covid-19. The financial aids were delivered in FEB UNS Meeting Room I, Thursday (6/8/2020) and witnessed by the FEB UNS Vice Deans and Head of Administrative Bureau, as well as a representative from Bank Jateng.
The Head of FEB UNS Partnership Unit, Dr. Dwi Prasetyani welcomed the assistance from Bank Jateng. This event is an initial step to open the collaboration between the institutions. She mentioned that in implementing Higher Education Tri Dharma, FEB UNS has developed a collaboration with several desa binaan and banking industry. The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs FEB UNS, Dr. Izza Mafruhah stated that FEB UNS is open in building collaboration with other parties, including banking. FEB UNS also has several laboratories which provide an opportunity to develop training in the banking field.
“In implementing the Merdeka Belajar and Kampus Merdeka Program with 6 months internship, if Bank Jateng set FEB as one of its main partners, we will prepare our best students to join the internship program,” Dr Izza conveyed.
The Head of Marketing Department Bank Jateng, Gentur Sumaryanto, stated that his part is open for further collaboration with FEB UNS, in the forms of internship, training, or development of desa binaan FEB. Humas UNS
