UNS – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta once again received a study visit from another institution. This time, the visit came from FMIPA Universitas Lampung (Unila). The delegation from Unila was welcomed by the Dean and the leadership of FMIPA UNS at the Senate Meeting Room, Building A FMIPA on Tuesday (12/9/2023).
The Dean of FMIPA UNS, Drs. Harjana, M.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., warmly welcomed the delegation from Unila and expressed gratitude for choosing FMIPA UNS for their study visit.
“What is most important for us is how we can share and collaborate in managing our study programs, especially our postgraduate programs. This way, we can complement each other and make improvements in our management to achieve better results,” Harjana explained.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Doctoral Study Program of MIPA Unila, Dr. G. Nugroho Susanto M.Sc., said that the purpose of their visit, along with the delegation, was to advance the learning process in the Master’s Program in Chemistry and the Doctoral Program in MIPA. This is related to quality assurance and accreditation dynamics. The discussion also revolved around how to attract students and develop the institution, including ensuring that students graduate on time.
“We want to share our experiences in improving accreditation, exploring opportunities for collaboration, enhancing quality assurance, and efforts to elevate our programs to achieve excellent accreditation status and attract students according to our targets,” Dr. Nugroho said. HUMAS UNS
