Officially Withdrew, KKN UNS in Klaten Received Positive Response

UNS — A total of 16 (sixteen) Teams of Student Community Service Program (KKN) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta officially withdraws from Klaten District on Wednesday (24/2/2021). The withdrawal ceremony was held in Sribit Village Meeting Hall, Delanggu, Klaten, by the Coordinator for Location-Based KKN Section, the Management Unit of KKN LPPM UNS, Waridi Hendro Saputro, M.Si. On this occasion, Prof. Ahmad Yunus, as the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs UNS, also attending the ceremony. Prof. Yunus delivered the outcomes of the KKN program from the Teams. The products are masks, eco-print tote bags, vegetable hydroponics, herbal plantation (apotek hidup), Literacy Corner, fried processed food made from milk, slate, and many others.

“Hopefully, the effort provided by UNS students through this KKN program in Klaten can be useful for the community,” Prof. Yunus wishes.

The Klaten Regional Government, represented by Umar from Bappeda Klaten, expresses a positive remark and thanking UNS for their long-lasting collaboration with the Regional Government of Klaten. “We hope that the programs of KKN UNS will not be stopped just like that. Hopefully, the communication between the local community and the KKN UNS students will last,” Umar states.

Further, he also hopes that UNS and Klaten can discuss various priority issues in the District that may need assistance from the university. “We are always open, if UNS students are interested to do thesis and research, we will welcome them. If there is any need for data, please visit Bappeda Klaten,” Umar added.

Also attending the ceremony was the Chief of Research and Innovation Bureau UNS, Danang Tomi Harjanto, S.Sos., and the Coordinator for Collaboration in UP KKN UNS, Eksa Rusdiyana, S.P., M.Sc. Humas UNS
