UNS — Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta routine Islamic study was held in Seminar Room Nurul Huda Mosque UNS on Tuesday (30/3/2021). The routine study was opened with a Grand Opening ceremony by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, the Chief of Nurul Huda Mosque UNS management and Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs UNS, Prof. Ahmad Yunus, and the Chief of DWP UNS, Budhi Wijayanti Jamal Wiwoho.
The Rector mentioned that UNS greatly appreciate DWP’s efforts in conducting the event amid their daily activities. He also noted that this event’s religious knowledge would be beneficial in life and the afterlife, emphasizing the long-life learning process. Prof. Jamal also invited the DWP board and members to work together in harmony. “Let’s pray for UNS to develop,” Prof. Jamal added.
Prof. Ahmad Yunus, as the Chief of Nurul Huda Mosque UNS management and Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs UNS, highly supports this event. “Because the Rector’s Official Resident that is usually used for this event is currently being renovated, you are welcomed to conduct the study here (Nurul Huda Mosque UNS),” Prof. Yunus stated.
The Chief for DWP UNS Study, Dwi Martini Fathoni, stated that due to Covid-19, the routine study was not implemented before but will start its activities starting March 2021. the study invited Ustazah Dr. Lilis Fatimah Agung Syuhada, the manager of Pondok Pesantren Kholifatullah Singo Ludiro who delivered material on Jihad Muslimah as Ramadan practices amid the pandemic.
