Rory Asyari: Commitment on Future Investment

UNS – The alumnus of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta and a reporter in national television news reporter, Rory Asyari is committed to maintaining his health as a future investment. Through a call at the beginning of July, Rory mentioned that he can maintain his productive activities amid the pandemic.

“Pandemic is not an excuse to be lazy, but instead we need to be productive because we have more spare time,” said the man born in Solo 33 years ago.

There are many activities that one can perform, such as making new resolutions to run a business or establish a regular schedule to maintain fitness by exercising or being able to productively create work. Rory chooses to exercise to maintain his productivity, he exercised 4 to 5 times a week with a duration of 1.5 hours each round in the morning or after he came back from work.

One of the greatest obstacles to maintain regular exercise is giving up to laziness and reluctance to start. Rory stated that to maintain routine exercise someone needs motivation and commitment. Exercising is a need for him and it is not hard for him to establish a routine exercise schedule. Rory’s exercise usually consists of workout, tennis, swimming, kickboxing, and yoga, but during the pandemic, he regularly working out from home. In addition to exercising, Putra Solo 2006 also manages his diet to support his healthy lifestyle.

Rory admitted that he does not like sweet foods, and rarely consumed sweet foods and beverages. This has conditioned his body to respond when he consumes sweet foods by feeling less well. He also routinely performs a health check. Aside from personal investment, he is currently developing a business to open employment opportunity for marginalized groups. HUMAS UNS
