UNS – The Undergraduate Program of Visual Communication Design (DKV) at the Faculty of Arts and Design (FSRD), Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Batch of 2023, held an exhibition titled ‘Purwacarita’ on Saturday (16/12/2023) until Sunday (17/12/2023). The exhibition took place at the FSRD UNS Mesen Campus Hall.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Research, and Student Affairs of FSRD UNS, Dr. Deny Tri Ardianto, S.Sn., Dipl. Art., accompanied by the Head of the DKV Program at FSRD UNS, Dr. Jazuli Abdin Moenib, S.Sn., M.Hum., and the attending lecturers of DKV.
“Purwacarita exhibition showcases the works of all students from the 2023 batch. The exhibition revolves around the theme of Indonesian folklore, focusing on relatively unknown folk stories,” Dr. Deny explained.
The exhibited works include film poster designs, character design, photography, and logo design. The Purwacarita exhibition also features several interesting seminars and entertainment performances.
The Purwacarita exhibition is part of UNS’s commitment to supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically goal number four, which is education. The SDGs aim to ensure quality, inclusive, and equitable education by enhancing lifelong learning opportunities for all. HUMAS UNS
