UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held tennis tournament for tennis lovers entitled Tennis Sahabat Rektor Cup (TSR Cup) (Rector’s Friend Tennis Cup). The tournament is held in two days, Saturday (7/11/2020) and Sunday (8/11/2020) from 06.00 Western Indonesian Time in Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) UNS Tennis Courts.
The Chairman of TSR Cup Committee, Dr. Sapta Kunta Purnama stated that TSR Cup tournament is expected to maintain silaturahmi, togetherness, and increase immunity amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The tournament is joined by Club Tennis 510, Yustisia Tennis Club, TSR Club, Tennis Gembira and Tennis Sahabat Sahabatnya Rektor (TSSR) Club which also collaborate with the fellows from bank partners,” Dr. Sapta who is also the Dean of Faculty of Sports (FKOR) UNS stated on Friday (6/11/2020).
The Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho appreciated the managing committee who has managed this tennis tournament. “Through this tournament, hopefully, this can increase the togetherness among the faculty members, academic staffs, students, and retiree in UNS as well as the community around the campus,” Prof. Jamal stated.
