UNS – A place for the Alumni of SMA N 3 Surakarta (Roemah Tiga) held a Motivation Seminar entitle “My 4 Secrets to be Model Student and be Successful in Life”, in G.P.H. Haryo Mataram Auditorium, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Sunday (19/01/20).
“This event shed a positive light, currently we are in the 4.0 industrial revolution, thus the students’ parent will be able to prepare the strategies and tips for their children because of the tendency of millennial children to have extraordinary creativity to progress,” said Monica Subiakto the Head of Roemah Tiga.
This motivation seminar is addressed to the parents of the student who plan on continuing their studies at university, students, and orphans. For the orphans, special free access is provided.
The seminar invites a famous motivator, who is an alumnus of SMA N 3 Surakarta as well as the alumnus of the Faculty of Law (FH) UNS, Tung Desem Waringin, S.H. In the Seminar, Tung Desem Waringin explained that there are 4 recipes to be a winner, namely a clear goal, a strong reason, learning from the best, and taking action to manifest the goal as a habit and even success. Besides explaining the four tips, Tung Desem Waringing also gives information regarding smart financial management. In pursuing his career, certainly, Tung Desem Waringin has faced many ups and downs that made him stronger. “There is nothing such as failure, only success, and continuous learning,” Tung Desem Waringin said.
At the end of the event a successful investor, who was also a student of Tung Desem Waringin, Ellen May also present on the event. Ellen May attended the event together with her husband and 2 daughters. She also delivers a motivation for the participants.
Besides motivating the participants and delivering information on the secret to be a model student, Roemah Tiga also invites the participants to join the “Go Green’’ movement, by providing a free drinking tumbler for all participants and invited guests in attendance. Humas UNS/ Zalfaa
