UNS — Innovation as the result of a collaboration between the Master Program in Economic Education and Economic Education Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta titled Visiting Scholar Series. The event was held on Tuesday (27/10/2020) as a means for people who want to study abroad. The learning process was held online with a speaker from Australia.
Two speakers were invited to deliver material in the event, Prof. Omar Hussain, Ph.D from the University of South Wales (UNSW) delivering material on electronic marketing for Master program and Prof. Ferry Jie, Ph.D from the Edith Cowan University delivering material on digital marketing for the undergraduate program. The material for the undergraduate program was held on Tuesday (27/10/2020) and the program for the Master degree started two days later on Thursday (29/10/2020). The special program for UNS students was welcomed by students which can be seen from the number of applicants for each speaker.
“The number of registered applicants for Prof. Ferry were 105 students, and for Prof. Omar class was 107 students,” a committee member, Hana, explained.
A positive response was also conveyed by the Dean of FKIP UNS, Dr. Mardiyana in his opening remark to open the Visiting Scholar Series. He hopes that this event will continue to the next semester by inviting various international experts. The teacher of Digital Marketing course, Khresna Bayu Sangka, Ph.D and the teacher of Electronic Marketing course, Dr. Aniek Hindrayani, M.Si also attended the online class. Humas UNS
