UNS — Good news came from Javanese Language Education Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta. The program obtained A level accreditation from National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) based on Decision Letter No. 5653/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/S/IX/2020 dated 16 September 2020.
The Head of Javanese Language Education Program FKIP UNS, Dr. Djoko Sulaksono, M.Pd. stated that the A level accreditation was obtained after a series of the accreditation process. The Field Assessment (AL) was conducted online on Thursday – Friday (10-11/9/2020) by 2 assessors, Dr. Mulyana, M.Hum. from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) and Dr. Pujiharto, M.Hum. from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM).
This success is the result of continuous efforts from Javanese Language Education Program in implementing higher education quality assurance. This continuous effort is manifested in both academic and non-academic terms which are continuously improved by all academicians. At the end of the day, this has improved the accreditation from B to A. The better support from the institution, alumni, students, faculty members, users, Faculty Quality Assurance Team, and Quality Assurance Team from Institute of Educational Quality Assurance and Development (LPPMP) UNS have a great role in achieving the success.
Dr. Djoko Sulaksono conveyed his gratitude on the accreditation result considering the Javanese Language Education Program is considered young. He also mentioned that the accreditation result will bring a positive impact for many involved parties, including the institution, faculty members, students, and the community. The Program is committed to maintaining its A level accreditation as a part of its internal and external quality assurance efforts. Humas UNS
