UNS — Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) (red: association of Indonesian civil servant’s wife) Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta held Jumat Berkah (Blessed Friday) event by sharing activities. This time, DWP UNS shared breakfast for janitors in UNS campus, Friday (6/11/2020).
The President of DWP UNS, Budhi Widjayanti Jamal Wiwoho stated that in a month, DWP UNS held two Jumat Berkah, on the first and third Friday of the month. “So, we in DWP UNS has Jumat Berkah program by set aside of the changes and collected in ‘kencleng peduli’. From the daily spending changes, we can use it in the sharing event this Friday,” Budhi said to uns.ac.id.
The Jumat Berkah activity itself has several variations. “So, we alternate between sharing rice (foods) and managing the low-cost market which all products come from the managers and members of DWP UNS. Our objective is to share with each other,” she added.
Budhi hopes that DWP UNS can bring benefits for the environment and that Jumat Berkah can help others. “This is the real form of DWP UNS concerns for the environment,” she concluded. Humas UNS
