UNS — The Indonesian Flying Robot Contest (KRTI) 2021 in Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta is officially closed in an offline and online ceremony on Saturday (20/11/2021) in G.P.H. Haryo Mataram UNS Auditorium. The winners in KRTI were also announced in the closing ceremony. As host, UNS won three titles, 3rd place in Fixed Wing Division (FW), 3rd place in Vertical Take-Off and Landing Division (VTOL), and 1st runner up in Technology Development Division (Propulsion System Development-ESC/ECU). The Grand Champion was won by Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) Yogyakarta.
In his remark, the Chief Committee of KRTI 2021, Prof. Dody Ariawan, reported that KRTI runs smoothly and successfully.
“We congratulate all winners and all participants of KRTI 2021; hopefully, the achievements could be improved in the future. Thank you to UNS, Puspresnas, FT UNS, juries, and all committees who have supported KRTI 2021,” Prof. Dody stated.
The acting chief of Puspresnas, Asep Sukmayadi, stated that as host UNS could implement the competition well. Through collaboration and togetherness of UNS academic members, KRTI 2021 was implemented well, although via online media.
“Congratulation to all participants. All (participants) are winners because (you) have won over yourself for not wasting time. We appreciate, and of course, this can be an encouragement and inspiration for all of us. Congratulations on the achievements of the students,” Asep stated.
The Director of Academic Affairs Vocational Higher Education, Dr. Beny Bandanadjaya, also appreciated all committee members and participants who have worked hard to make the event a success. He is proud because all involved components have the spirit to work and fight amid the pandemic.
Before officially closing KRTI 2021, Prof. Yunus, as the Vice-Rector for Academic and Student Affairs UNS, reminded all participants to be not only active in the academic activities but also become creative and competitive individuals who have a noble character.
“(My) appreciation to all components involved in KRTI 2021. Hopefully, it provided a useful experience for all participants. University students are expected to give their thoughts on the development of unmanned planes. Hopefully, the interest in this event will be greater and better in the future,” Prof. Yunus concluded.
