UNS – The late Irza Laila Nur Trishna Winandi, a student of Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Department of Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) class of 2015, was inaugurated by Rector of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, on Saturday (08/24/2019). She passed away after being hit by a container truck while leaving for her thesis examination.
In his speech, Prof. Jamal asked the executive leaders and senate of the university, also the graduates to take a moment of silence praying for the late Ms. Irza Laila Nur Trishna Winandi.
“This day, in particular, the members of UNS executive leader and senate who are present in front of us, and I personally, invite all of the audience to take a moment of silence and express deep condolence praying for the late Ms. Irza Laila Nur Trishna Winandi,” he asked.
The late Irza Laila Nur Trishna Winandi is an Mr./Mrs. Nurokhman’s daughter who was planning to attend the thesis examination on Thursday (07/25) at 1 p.m.
As planned, she was going to explain her research result about “The Impact of Online Gaming on the Creativity and Learning Outcome of UNS Students of Informatics and Computer Engineering Education Department of FKIP in Computer Programming Subject Course”.
In this graduation IV period, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho UNS Rector in person put graduation stole on Irza’s parents. The graduation sash and awards were given directly to Mr. and Mrs. Nurokhman.
During this process, the atmosphere of the graduation turned full of emotion. The graduates who attended the G.P.H. Haryo Mataram UNS Auditorium gave standing applauses straight away to respect the late Irza Laila Nur Trishna.
“The late Ms. Irza Laila Nur Trishna Winandi, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Nurokhman who had completed her assignments in this campus and fulfilled her duty of life in this world to lead the eternal life by Allah SWT, left all of us.
