UNS — Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta officially collaborate with PT Transportasi Jakarta (TJ) starting from the signing ceremony of the memorandum of collaboration on Tuesday (7/9/2021) by the Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, and the President Director of PT Transportasi Jakarta, Sardjono Jhony Tjitrokusumo.
This collaboration will be effective for two years and covers three pillars of the Higher Education Tri Dharma: education, research, and community services. In the education, the collaboration will include the implementation of the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program and general lectures. In the research, the partnership translates into survey research and studies, and lastly, on community services, the collaboration includes consultation, analysis, and problem-solving assistance.
The Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, welcomed this collaboration and invited all programs in UNS to participate in the partnership. For example, by inviting experts from TJ in the general lectures and other activities.
“Under the MBKM development concept, the university continues to build a partnership with the industry. I hope that PT Transportasi Jakarta could implement this collaboration through a survey on service evaluation and customer satisfaction. All programs and faculties, when need speakers for general lecture and other activities, could utilize this collaboration,” Prof. Jamal mentioned in his remark.
Supporting Prof. Jamal, Sardjono Jhony Tjitrokusumo also appreciated the partnership in developing Trans Jakarta services.
“It is a distinct pride to collaborate with UNS. Hopefully, this partnership could create an integrated transportation service. What has been implemented in Jakarta can be implemented in other cities, especially Solo and Yogyakarta. Hopefully, (it) could be a better transportation service,” PT Transportasi Jakarta President Director stated. Humas UNS
