UNS – Four Vice Rectors (VRs) of Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Surakarta the period 2019-2023 were inaugurated by Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal Wiwoho, Friday (4/26/2019) in the Meeting Room 4 Rectorate Building UNS. They are Prof. Ahmad Yunus from Faculty of Agriculture (FP) as a VR for Academic Affairs, Dr. Bandi from Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) as VR for Finance and Management Affairs, Prof. Kuncoro Diharjo from Faculty of Engineering (FT) as VR for Students and Alumni Affairs, and Prof. Sajidan from Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) as VR for Partnership and Planning Affairs.
Rector of UNS, Prof. Jamal said that those inaugurated VRs of UNS were ready to contribute for the improvement of UNS. He hopes that the four VRs of UNS will cooperate well.
“As an instance, VR of UNS for Academic Affairs relates with the quality and quality is linked to the accreditation, I hope there won’t be C accreditation, just A or some B accreditations,” stated Prof. Jamal.
Then, VR of UNS for Finance and Management Affairs connects to the most crucial section of a higher education so must work obediently and give the best service. In addition, VR for Student and Alumni Affairs should supervise the student activities in a good way also build a harmonize synergy between UNS and the alumni. Meanwhile, VR of UNS for Partnership and Planning Affairs must have the proper plans for UNS both the short terms and the long terms. Moreover, this VR of UNS also has to map out a cooperation that will produce “Revenue Generating”.
Beside inaugurated VRs of UNS, Prof. Jamal also inaugurated Three Senior Advisors to Rector. They are Senior Advisor to Rector for Academic Affairs, Dr.Drajat Tri Kartono, M.Si.; Senior Advisor to Rector for Finance and Management Affairs, Dr. E. Muhtar, S.Pd., M.Si.; and Senior Advisor to Rector for Partnership and Student Affairs, Dr. Sutanto, S.Si, DEA.
This inauguration was followed by the handover of position from the VR of UNS period 2015-2019 to the VR of UNS period 2019-2023. Humas UNS/Zulfamirda/Try
